GOD’S instructions are for a reason! Not to Threaten you!!

I was listening to @jamiegrace’s podcast on proverbs 6, it was pretty good it was based on some instructions that GOD has given us! Simply saying, “it’s not good if you do this or that.”

Most times we like to say if  you commit this sin or that sin you will go to Hell! GOD didn’t just design these instructions for you to avoid hell but for us to live better lives…
for I give you good precepts; do not forsake my teaching.  - Proverbs 4:2

The truth about purity,  (not having sex before marriage), is to ensure self discipline in the long run. For people who have had sex before marriage, which always leads to multiple sexual partners most times! Have to pay the consequence of self discipline in marriage that they didn’t learn been single. In marriage one thing you will learn is you can’t get sex anytime you want it, due to so many reasons like work schedules, the spouse  who is always on the road, kids and many more, other than life happening. You also have to get used to just having sex with one person, that will be hard for someone who hasn’t practiced self discipline of “Sexual purity!”. You can’t swipe right or left in marriage, or you will pay with divorce and it will hurt all the time, energy and resources poured into building the financial and emotional stability that one has enjoyed…. GOD is not messing around when HE was giving instructions about everything, above all when HE puts HIS HOLY SPIRIT in you to tell you how to live your life!!!
